My Week In Instagram #3 & UPDATE

Friday, 18 April 2014

So I am finally off for the Easter holidays now and I am so, so, so excited about it, but it's not that relaxing as I have so much revision to do. If you're unhappy and hate revision clap your hands! *clap, clap*. Aside from all of the revision and all that boring stuff I thought that it would be quite nice to show you what I have been up to this week. Really, the reason I am blogging today is due to the fact that I was about to film for my YouTube channel, BUT my camera died. Thanks camera....

I started the My Week In Instagram posts quite early on after starting my blog when I saw a couple of other bloggers doing it, but I never really continued on hence this is only the third. But, who cares right? I'm kick starting it up again! Bare in mind this will not be an every week kind of thing as I don't Instagram THAT much. I don't think I do anyway. Oh, since we're on the topic of Instagram, why don't you follow me to keep updated? Go on, head over to @aspoonfulofhope. So apart from this jibber jabber, let's get started!

1) Today: Last night I decided to pick up and read The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones by Cassandra Clare. I am about half way through and I am LOVING IT! I definitely recommend.  What a better way to get into the reading mode by lighting a Yankee Candle in Happy Birthday. This candle smells delicious, I super want to eat it but.... You know.... Might just get a tad sick.

2) Today: SELFIE (girl flicks hair emoji). Today I am wearing this gorgeous cream/pink jumper with a polka dot blue collar. I bought this from Primark for around £12. Bargain! I also liked the way I did my make up today, praise good hair and good make up days! I am wearing the Naked 3 palette, Stay Matte powder with Sleek face palette, my sample size Urban Decay foundation, and my Maybellinne Rocket mascara.

3) Yesterday: Woah, it's my photo from my Revision and Exam season post. Revision sucks, so I decided to make myself some coffee to help get through. It will all be worth it in the end.

4) Yesterday: I really, really, REALLY, want to go to Paris. Enough said there.

5) How blinking cute is my cat? She is so adorable and sweet. She is obsessed with having cuddles.

6) I finished reading Wonder by P.J Palacio. It was such an incredible book, which I thoroughly recommend. It was one of those books that really made you realise to appreciate life because some people have it a lot worse. (If you would like to see a book review, leave a comment below)

7) How bloomin' beautiful is this leaf ring?! It was from Primark for only £2. How good is that. I fell in love with it as I had seen one similar on good old Pinterest.

8) Read The Great Gatsby. Brilliant book and love the film!!

9) Oh hello there Logan Lerman you perfect human. Still obsessed with The Perks Of Being A Wallflower. Sob every time when I watch it. Logan Lerman is definitely in my top 3 (#1 is Zac Efron, obviously).

I hope you have had such a great week. Make sure you have fun in the last week of you Easter holidays if you are off! Speaking of which, I hope you have such a good Easter Sunday. Don't eat too much chocolate (which I probably will). For me Easter is such a lovely celebration and I like to think of the true reason behind it, not just the chocolate.

Also, I would like your opinion on this idea.... As I am a lover of books I was thinking of creating a book series where I will do book reviews, show you a few book pick up's (book hauls), and other fun things such as tags and such. I was thinking of starting out on this blog, and then move over to YouTube also! Leave your thoughts down below!
